PT Indo Sultan Jaya has begun a phased programme to bring its manufacturing and trading operations onto a single digital system, so that every order, batch and shipment is planned, tracked and documented in one place from first enquiry to delivery.
Why now
IndoSultan runs five product lines from its refinery and saponification plant in Cikarang, and this year added a second soap-noodle site in Bandung. As the company has grown, each function has kept its own records: quotations, stock, production plans and dispatch notes each in their own system. Operating at this scale, across two sites and export markets on several continents, calls for one connected record of every order — and that is what this programme delivers.
The scope
The programme covers the full order cycle at both sites: sales and quotations, procurement and goods receipt, inventory, production planning and batch records, quality control, dispatch and invoicing. Each order will carry a single record from enquiry to the truck leaving the gate, with every batch and lot traceable back to it.
The timeline
Work began in August 2026 with the loading of the company’s complete material and stock master data. The rollout proceeds line by line:
- Phase 1, soap bars (Cikarang): quotation to dispatch for the bar-soap ranges. Being rolled out now.
- Phase 2, soap noodles (Cikarang and Bandung): grade specifications, lot tracking, quality control and a certificate of analysis for every lot, across bagged, jumbo-bag and bulk pack forms.
- Phase 3, cooking oil, palm fats and palm-oil derivatives: including shelf-life tracking and export documentation.
- Group reporting across the group’s sites follows once the lines are live.
The group has partnered with Aourix, an Australian AI-native lead-to-cash platform for manufacturers, which is being rolled out across sales, inventory and production for the soap-bar line.
What it means for our customers
- Traceability. Every batch and lot linked to its raw materials, its test results and the order it shipped against, with a certificate of analysis to match.
- Reliable delivery dates. Production scheduled against real plant and line capacity, so a confirmed date reflects what the plant can actually make.
- Consistent supply. Purchase orders raised from actual requirements and stock levels, so material is in place before a batch is due.
- One view of stock. A single, live inventory position across Cikarang and Bandung, so availability quoted to a customer is availability the company holds.
Nothing changes in how customers place orders or who they deal with. The same trade desk, the same product grades and the same specifications — backed by a system that sees the whole order.
“Our customers judge us on consistency, and consistency across two sites and five lines needs one system. This is the groundwork for the next stage of the company.”Ahmed Sultan, Co-Founder & CEO
Further updates will be published as each phase goes live.
